QFT is a technology & research-oriented company certified under ISO 14001:2015, ISO 9001:2015, IRIS, and TS Quality Management Systems. It develops next-generation Train Control and Signalling Systems under the KAVACH project for Indian Railways and operates a specialty cable manufacturing facility with an Electron Beam Irradiation Centre. The cables are used in railway rolling stock and the naval (defense) industry. QFT also has full infrastructure for producing solar and EV cables, along with a facility for manufacturing and testing specialty cables and hardware for the Train Control and Signalling Division.
